Faculty Exchange Program

Dr. Mousumi Sengupta Professor - OB HRM, has visited ESC Pau Business School, France, in the month of November 2023. She has taught the course on "Responsible HRM", to the group of students at ESC Pau, as a part of the Faculty Exchange program from SDMIMD. Students from various countries, including US, Germany, Mexico, Spain, South Korea, China, Nigeria, have attended the sessions, conducted by her. The sessions were made highly interactive and activity-based and received high appreciation from the students.

Exchange Program Visit to BUiD, Dubai by Prof. Gandhi

Prof. L. Gandhi, Faculty – OB/HR, SDMIMD, visited British University in Dubai (BUiD), Dubai during October 21 to 23, 2019 on a Faculty Exchange Program (FEP). Prof. Gandhi conducted the sessions for MBA Program in the University. Students of the program are the working executives who are pursuing their MBA from BUiD. The sessions focused on Organization Behaviour (OB) covering the global scenario. Several case studies and situations from Indian scenario were introduced to the students.

Faculty on Overseas Exchange Program 2018

SDMIMD has collaborated with international management institutes of repute to conduct Exchange Programs for an understanding of management from an international perspective. Faculty and Students from both the collaborative institutions have an opportunity of participating in foreign exchange program every year.

This year 4 faculty members from SDMIMD are invited by the universities overseas to conduct courses.
Dr. R. Jagadeesh, Professor - Operations, is invited by British University in Dubai (BUiD), Dubai;
Dr. R. Sugant, Professor - Marketing will be taking sessions at the University of Montevideo, Uruguay;
Dr. S.N. Prasad, Professor - Strategic Marketing, will conduct the course on International perspectives in Strategy at ESC Pau, France; and, Prof. M. Minhaj, Faculty-Systems, will deliver sessions on Business Analytics at Business Analytics Institute, France.

Prof. Prasad and Prof. Jayakrishnan at BUiD on Faculty Exchange

As a part of the faculty exchange arrangement that SDMIMD has with the British University in Dubai, two of the faculty from SDMIMD – Prof. S Jayakrishnan and Prof. S N Prasad, held sessions in Dubai.

Prof. S. Jayakrishnan, was invited by British University in Dubai (BUiD) to deliver the sessions on Consumer Learning, Persuasion and Marketing strategy, Planning and Business Models to BUiD MBA Students. Prof. Jayakrishnan's visit during October 16-18, 2017, is the part of Student-Faculty exchange program between SDMIMD and BUiD.

'India's group behaviour and team working' was the session delivered by Prof. S.N. Prasad, Professor - Strategy and General Management, at British University in Dubai (BUiD) to the MBA students.

Both the sessions were highly appreciated.
