Campus Placements are in full swing and over 55% of the students have been placed. Till date, the average salary offered to our talented students hovers above Rs 6 Lakhs per annum and the highest salary being Rs 8.6 Lakhs per annum. Summer Internship Projects (SIP)
Corporates are requested to send proposals for SIPs by our First Year MBA Students entering the Second Year. SIP of 2 months duration are scheduled from 01 Apr 2011 to 31 May 2011. We offer talented Students in the Marketing, Finance, HR, Operations and Systems Streams for the SIPs.

| SDMIMD Students Beat IIM-A, IIM-B & SP Jain in Case Study Competition |
|
Four students, Dhivya Venkatesh, Gaurav Dwivedi, Kushal Bathija and Sowmya.B, won the first prize at IIMA for their presentation on the Nestle Case Study. On their way to the top, they defeated IIM-A, IIM-B and SP Jain Institute of Management. The first prize constitutes certificate and Rs. 60,000/- prize money.
The contest involved presenting a comprehensive Marketing Strategy solution for a chosen product. It was judged by senior executives from Nestle.

The Annual Event was on the 20th and 21st Nov 2010 at the SDMIMD Campus. The evening of 20th Nov 2010 started with the inauguration. The lamp was lit by Prof. N.R Parasuraman, Deputy Director and Dean Academics, SDMIMD. Joining him was the Alumnus, Mr. Praveen, from the batch of 1994-96 and Prof. Malathi Sriram,Chairperson-Alumni Activities. Prof. N.R Parasuraman shared his thoughts with the Alumni while the Alumnus, Mr. Praveen reminisced the 'good-old' days at SDMIMD. |

Students from SDMIMD interacted with the team.The Visitors were overwhelmed by the hospitality and the learning atmosphere at SDMIMD. |
