Placement Committee
SDMIMD’s Placement Committee consists of Chairman-Placements, a team of Faculty members and the Placement Officer. The committee is also supported by a Student Placement Committee.

Placement Process at SDMIMD
SDMIMD welcomes organizations from all categories to visit the campus and participate in the Campus Recruitment Program. Corporates and other organizations wishing to recruit at SDMIMD are requested to contact the Placement Committee.
The institute has excellent infrastructural support such as audio, video facilities in all classrooms that help in making presentations and conducting group discussions. Exclusive Personal Interview rooms are also available.
Pre-placement Talks
Pre-Placement Talks (PPTs) from corporates enable students to know more about the company. It gives an opportunity for the student to seek clarifications from the panel members thus helping them to decide on their interest and arrive at a rational decision regarding the job and the company. Corporates are requested to provide the following information to the students during pre-placement talks.
• Job profiles and responsibilities
• Position offered
• Opportunities for career growth and development
• Remuneration package
Any additional material and information to be distributed to students is welcome.
Pre-placement Offers
Pre-placement Offers (PPO) are based on performance of the students during their Summer Internship Projects and their match with the organizations.
Lateral Placements
SDMIMD also welcomes lateral placement opportunities offered to students with work experience.
