"Every parting is a form of death, as every reunion is a type of heaven..." - Tryon Edwards The Annual Event was on the 20th and 21st Nov 2010 at the SDMIMD Campus. The evening of 20th Nov 2010 started with the inauguration. The lamp was lit by Prof. N.R Parasuraman, Deputy Director and Dean Academics, SDMIMD. Joining him was the Alumnus, Mr. Praveen, from the batch of 1994-96 and Prof. Malathi Sriram,Chairperson-Alumni Activities. Prof. N.R Parasuraman shared his thoughts with the Alumni while the Alumnus, Mr. Praveen reminiscenced the 'good-old' days at SDMIMD. This was followed by a fun-filled cultural programme presented by the I and II year students.The Alumni were not far behind in joining them, to contribute their own might. The morning of 21st Nov 2010 taxed the Alumni physically to have a sporting encounter with a mix of the I and II year students in a match of Volley Ball. As always SDMIMD played the perfect host. |
