Mr. Devansh Joshi, Senior Manager – Planning & Strategy, Medlife, an alumnus of PGDM 2009-11 Batch, delivered talk on “Start-Ups - Eco-System & Strategy” on Saturday, October 6, 2018. Mr. Joshi threw light on favourable customer centric policies adopted by various companies such as Amazon, Flipkart etc. Further, the speaker talked about pull strategies such as deep discounts, brand building and gaining trust, introducing private label products such as high margins, controlled inventory, and increase in profitability. The discussion on the business models of Swiggy and Medilife; and, the importance of customer acquisition cost, average invoice value, private label margin, LTV, etc. The talk was organized as an apart of Prerana Alumni Lecture Series. |
