Prof. Girish Gopalarao is currently working as an Associate Professor of General Management and Systems at SDM Institute for Management Development, Mysore. He has over 25 years of work experience in  the I.T industry during which he executed various Technical and business leadership roles Globally. During his stint in the IT industry Girish has been instrumental in driving and managing Strategic IT Transformation programs for some of the large Fortune-50 Customers. 
 
He has also executed various consulting projects for both Domestic and Global customers.
 
His core expertise lies in the areas of Transformative Technology Solutions, Crafting large Complex deals, Managing complex IT Programs, Contract Negotiations and Outsourcing Contracts.
 
Girish has a M.Tech in Computer Science and also a B.E In Information Science and Engg. He has completed the Annual FDP 2024 program from IIM Indore. 
 
In addition he has successfully completed a Certificate course in “Bio Diversity Leadership” from the prestigious Bombay Natural History Society.
 
He has published papers on Technology in National and International journals and delivered guest lectures on Technology Trends in various Institutions and Universities.
