All India Higher Education Survey (AISHE)
AISHE Code S-154


AISHE is a task force formed in 2010-2011 with constitution representatives from HRD ministry, University Grants Commission, All India Council of Technical Education, Medical Council of India (now superseded by National Medical Commission), National University of Education Planning and Administration, Distance Education Council of India and representatives of many universities.

Task force recommended survey making an annual exercise which was accepted by department of Higher Education in ministry of HRD India.


Unnat Bharath Abhiyan (UBA)


Unnat Bharat Abhiyan is inspired by the vision of transformational change in rural development processes by leveraging knowledge institutions to help build the architecture of an Inclusive India.

Villages adopted under UBA by SDMIMD are as follows –

  2. Chamundibetta (OG)
  3. Bhugathagalli
  4. Vajamangala
  5. Hadajana

Ek Bharath Shresht Bharat (EBSB)


Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) program aims to enhance interaction & promote mutual understanding between people of different states/UTs through the concept of state/UT pairing. The states carry out activities to promote a sustained and structured cultural connect in the areas of language learning, culture, traditions, music, tourism, cuisine, sports and sharing of best practices etc.


ATAL Community Innovation Center (ACIC)


Atal Community Innovation Centre (ACIC), a new initiative under Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), is directed to encourage the spirit of innovation through solution driven design thinking to serve the society. It will focus on underserved / unserved regions of the country which at present lack a vibrant startup and innovation ecosystem.



AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Academy


To plan and help in imparting quality technical education in the country and to support technical institutions in fostering research, innovation and entrepreneurship through training in various emerging areas.

Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA) by MoE's Innovation Cell

Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA) is an initiative of Ministry of Education (MoE), Govt. of India to systematically rank all major higher educational institutions and universities in India on indicators related to “Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development” amongst students and faculties.



VIDWAN is the premier database of profiles of scientists / researchers and other faculty members working at leading academic institutions and other R & D organisation involved in teaching and research in India.


Clean & Smart Campus Award

The award aims to seek engagement with all stakeholders, primarily the student community to draw their attention towards immense scope and potential that the Technology offers for abstract objectives such as cleanliness, sustainability, environment etc. The rising use of technologies especially IOT, robotics, cloud and automation have immense potential to re-model a campus in to a smart campus. These smart campuses can minimally help in ‘forward delivery’ by optimizing the use of, inter alia energy and water consumption in the campus. Smart campuses would construct ‘Smart Citizens’ – those who are ‘future-ready’ for the Smart Cities and an even Smarter India.


AICTE Quality Improvement Schemes (AQIS) - Research Promotion Scheme (RPS)


RPS Promotes Research in identified thrust areas of in Technical Education. RPS is aimed to create research ambience in the institutes by promoting research in engineering sciences and innovations in established and newer technologies; and to generate Master’s and Doctoral degree candidates to augment the quality of faculty and research personnel in the country.
