Keynote address by Mr. Shamanth<\/strong>\n
“Shamanth S.N.<\/strong> is a senior digital transformation and business strategy leader with over 25 years of global experience across Japan and the APAC region. He currently serves as Director – New & Emerging Business at Rakuten India<\/strong>, and previously held leadership roles at Hitachi<\/strong>, driving large-scale social infrastructure and digital innovation initiatives. His work spans intelligent transportation systems, power, water, geospatial and sustainability-focused digital ecosystems.<\/div>\n
His leadership has been recognised with several prestigious honours, including India’s Top 50 Great Manager<\/em> by The Economic Times<\/strong> (2020), India’s Top 100 Great People Manager<\/em> by The Great Manager Institute<\/strong> and National HRD Network (NHRDN)<\/strong> (2023), and Top 50 Under 50 Outstanding Trailblazer Leader<\/em> by Human Resources Association of India<\/strong> (2023\/25), along with the Corporate Titan Award (2024) and the Globex Business Award for his contributions to social innovation, sustainability and visionary leadership. Prof. Sankarshan Basu<\/strong>
\n Professor Sankarshan Basu completed his PhD in Statistics from the London School of Economics and Political Science, UK (LSE), and brings expertise in data analysis, financial markets, instruments, and financial management. He has been a visiting faculty member at several institutes across the world. His research interests are in financial markets, financial instruments, quantitative finance, and risk management. He not only studies these issues in the context of markets, products, and regulatory aspects but also teaches the same at the post – graduate and PhD programs at IIMB. Further, he has also trained several executives and entrepreneurs in various executive education programs at IIMB. He has also actively consulted for a number of financial institutions in the country and serves as an independent director of a leading financial institution.<\/td>\n<\/tr>

Dr. Shreya Mishra<\/strong>
\n Dr. Shreya Mishra is the Editor-in-Chief of the South Asian Journal of Business and Management Cases (Scopus)<\/strong> and Faculty at the Birla Institute of Management Technology (BIMTECH), Greater Noida. She is actively associated with the North American Case Research Association (NACRA), where she initiated the Pedagogy Track and currently serves as Vice President – Communication.
\n She has played a significant role in advancing case-based pedagogy, including organizing International Case Conferences at BIMTECH and contributing to capacity-building initiatives on case writing and teaching. She has also served as a resource person for multiple workshops on qualitative research and case study methodology. A qualitative researcher, her scholarly work examines power, identity, inequality, and resilience in organizational contexts through interpretive research approaches. Her research has been published in internationally ranked journals and supported by funded projects from ICSSR and ERASMUS+, and she has received recognitions such as the Jagdish Sheth Best Thesis Award and Young Scholar Awards. At BIMTECH, she teaches across postgraduate and doctoral programmes, including Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, and Qualitative Research Methods, with a strong emphasis on reflective and experiential pedagogy. <\/td>\n 		Dr. Veena K Pailwar<\/strong>
\n Dr. Veena K. Pailwar is a bestselling case author<\/strong>, with several of her teaching cases featured among top titles on leading global case repositories, including Harvard Business Publishing, Ivey Publishing, and The Case Centre<\/strong>. She is a Professor at the Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Nagpur, with over three decades of experience in teaching, research, and executive education. She is widely recognized for her experiential, participant-centred pedagogy, employing simulations and decision games, and has received advanced training at Harvard Business School, the Indian School of Business, and the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. She holds an MPhil from the University of Cambridge and a PhD from the Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics, Pune University, and has been associated with premier institutions such as XLRI – Xavier School of Management, the National Council of Applied Economic Research (NCAER), and the National Institute of Public Finance and Policy (NIPFP)<\/td>\n<\/tr><\/tbody><\/table>\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
