DiscoverDollar - a startup by SDMIMD alumnus, Mr. Subrahmanya Rao of PGDM Batch 2004-06 has won the Top 5 Most Innovative Award from SAP at SAPPHIRE NOW 2014 in Orlando on June 4th 2014. 1300+ Startups had applied for the SAP’s “Startup Focus Program” which is aimed at promoting the startups and innovations. Considering the scale of problem the solution is addressing and the break through innovation of DiscoverDollar, SAP selected DiscoverDollar as one among the “Top 5 most innovative”. DiscoverDollar helps retailers to automatically detect overpayments and resolve it on absolute real-time. Discover Dollar developed a break through innovative solution using Text analysis capabilities of SAP Hana where DiscoverDollar is able to capture critical information from unstructured data like emails and contracts and verify if they were taken correctly. This helps retailers to save immense cost who otherwise spend huge amounts on manual audits to find this.
