Understanding India’s Ethos, Enterprise, and Social Responsibility
Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Institute for Management Development (SDMIMD), Mysuru, is pleased to announce the 2025 edition of the Development of Business Excellence (DBE) program—Understanding India’s Ethos, Enterprise, and Social Responsibility.
This program is exclusively designed for foreign nationals pursuing higher education in India, with special focus on international students studying at the University of Mysore.
About the Program
The DBE program aims to sensitize international students to India’s distinctive approach to business excellence, deeply rooted in cultural ethos and social responsibility. Participants will gain insights into how India seamlessly integrates tradition with innovation, democracy with diversity, and enterprise with ethics, shaping its dynamic business and societal environment.
Program Highlights
- Offered free of cost as part of SDMIMD’s institutional social responsibility and commitment to global academic collaboration
- Sessions led by SDMIMD faculty experts and invited professionals
- Engaging learning formats including interactive lectures, case discussions, cultural demonstrations, and reflective engagements

- February 9, 2026: Two Sessions (Timings to be announced) – Offline, followed by the Certificate Award Function
This initiative offers international students a meaningful platform to understand India’s business philosophy and societal values through an immersive and academically enriching experience.
