Introduction

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is no longer a subject of fiction that used to be depicted in movies and science novels. It has become a reality and has made a remarkable impact on the present milieu of business. Siri, Alexa and Cortana have become household names, and the domain of AI has attracted huge investments from the industry. While the early AI research focused on training computers to mimic some basic reasoning, the increased data volumes, advanced algorithms, and improvements in computing power and storage have made AI a top business trend today.

Machine Learning (ML) is a subset of AI that provides computing systems with the ability to learn without being explicitly programmed. ML focuses on the development of Computer Programs that can change when exposed to new data. ML is a method of data analysis that automates analytical model building and works on the idea that systems can learn from data, identify patterns and make decisions with minimal human intervention.
