Placement season for the passing out batch of 2024 started with several apprehensions about the slowing down of recruitment in several corporate sectors and alarming reports from several well known colleges and universities substantiated the same. However, thanks to the stellar support from our regular recruiters along with several new entrants among our campus recruiters, we could complete the placements well before our Annual Convocation in early April 2024.

I take this opportunity to thank you for being a well-wisher of SDMIMD, Mysore and for your belief in our Value based management education. We here at SDMIMD are always striving to meet the expectations of the industry and in that direction, are preparing our students to carry their credentials with competence, integrity, humility, and honour.

Several new initiatives have been taken to maintain currency and relevance of the SDMIMD PGDM Programme. We are embarking on an ambitious process to integrate Gen AI with our class room teaching and evaluation process. This initiative will go a long way in giving individual attention to students as well as greatly enhancing the faculty efficiency. Further, the class room testing and evaluation being AI enabled, reduces the aspect of human error.

I am happy to share that SDMIMD has been rated in the ‘DIAMOND’ category by the QS-iGauge, India and scoring ‘PLATINUM’, the highest possible rating in over two thirds of the parameters.

First and foremost, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to all of the recruiters who supported SDMIMD and helped us navigate the challenging market conditions of the previous year by reaffirming our faith in the organization.

The PGDM Class of 2023–2025 is ready to find their footing in the professional world. Graduates from a variety of academic disciplines, including engineering, business, management, and related subjects, make up this group. The group of students in the batch is lively and diverse, hailing from twenty different states.

The students at SDMIMD are prepared to meet both the highest academic and corporate standards &

requirements. The postgraduate program’s curriculum is created to give students a thorough mastery of the subject matter and position them for success in their chosen industries.

Students get information and exposure to the corporate world through our various industry exchanges and

events hosted at SDMIMD. As part of the international exchange program, a number of students have been to France, Belgium, Portugal, and the United States and returned with invaluable knowledge.

Excellent internship and career possibilities with both established businesses and start-ups have always been available to SDMIMD students. Our program’s alumni have performed a wide range of roles in consulting, marketing, operations, finance, business analytics, and strategy. We appreciate corporates’ strong belief in our students’ skills.
