Student Committees

Known as ADCOM, this committee is the first point of contact for aspirants — resolving queries, guiding applicants through the admissions process, and relaying candidate feedback to the institute's management. It's regarded as one of the most visible committees on campus, carrying forward SDMIMD's legacy to every incoming batch.

ANTS strengthens the bond between alumni and current students by organising guest talks, panel discussions, and placement support. Flagship events like Alumni Conclave and Alumni Connect give students access to mentorship, internships, and career guidance from SDMIMD graduates working across industry.

Swayam E-Cell nurtures the entrepreneurial spirit on campus through workshops, mentorship sessions, and guest lectures from founders and industry experts. Its flagship event, Cerebra, invites students to pitch business ideas and receive feedback from seasoned entrepreneurs.

Paakashaale oversees all dining operations on campus — menu planning, food quality and hygiene, and resolving student feedback. The committee also organises events such as food carnivals and cultural feasts, including Ganesha Chaturthi celebrations.

The vital link between students, management, and recruiters. The committee reaches out to companies through the alumni network and professional platforms, runs skill-building sessions like mock GDs and PIs, and manages student documentation for recruitment drives.

Team Laksh runs a full sporting calendar — box cricket, marathon, throwball, volleyball, football, badminton, and table tennis — capped by the flagship SDMIMD Premier League. During the national management fest, it also hosts a chess tournament in memory of Rathnamma Heggade.

An equity-funded departmental store conceived and run entirely by students as a co-operative venture, Suvidha supplies daily necessities at the lowest possible cost — and doubles as a hands-on lesson in running a micro-institution.
