Faculty Development Program on Experiential Learning and AI

SDMIMD successfully conducted a one-day Faculty Development Program on “Experience Meets Intelligence: Reimagining the Classroom through Experiential Learning and AI.”

The programme was led by Dr.Nanda Kishore Shetty, Associate Professor – Marketing, and Dr Sunil M V, Assistant Professor – Systems and General Management, SDMIMD, Mysuru, who served as the resource persons.

Designed as an engaging and hands-on learning experience, the FDP explored innovative approaches to transforming filed visits, live projects and contemporary business ecosystems into powerful classroom learning, designing experiential, activity based and outbound learning for active student participation. The sessions also focused on creating AI assisted case studies and using AI for case facilitation, assessment and meaningful feedback.

Faculty members from several prestigious institutions across Karnataka actively participated in the programme, making it a vibrant platform for sharing ideas, exploring emerging pedagogical practices, and reimagining management education in the age of artificial intelligence.
