SDMIMD conducted a one-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) titled “Blending Minds and Machines: AI Strategies for Effective Classroom Delivery and Case Facilitation” on June 13, 2026.
The FDP brought together over 20+ faculty members from diverse disciplines including Management, Medical Sciences, Engineering, Basic Sciences, and Social Sciences. The programme focused on practical applications of Artificial Intelligence in classroom delivery, case writing, and case facilitation to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
The sessions were facilitated by Dr. Sunil M.V., Faculty – Systems and General Management, and Dr. Mamta Hegde, Faculty – OB and HR, who shared practical frameworks, tools, and strategies for integrating AI into contemporary teaching practices.
The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation, rich interdisciplinary discussions, and received highly positive feedback from participants, reaffirming SDMIMD’s commitment to promoting pedagogical innovation and responsible AI adoption in higher education.
