| SDMIMD entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NSE Academy to establish NSE Trading Lab in the Institute. The MoU was signed by Dr.S.N.Prasad, Director, SDMIMD and Dr.Abhilash Misra, CEO, NSE Academy,Mumbai. Mr. Ranganathan, Associate Vice President, NSE Academy, Dr.M.Sriram, Associate Professor-Finance and students of Finacle Club were present on the occasion. The trading lab will have the simulation software called ‘NSE SMART’ which provides a hands on experience to the students in trading in stocks and understand the functioning of stock markets. The students will have practical expsoure in both cash as well as the derivatives market. The students will be provided with virtual money which can be used for trading in securities without any risk. The expsoure to the simulation is expected to augment the learning of the students in investments and financial markets. |
