Achievements

	Under the "Adopt and Nurture a School" programme, SDMIMD students mobilized funds through voluntary donations and distributed school kits to the children of Government Higher Primary School (KARP Body Guard Line), Siddarthanagar, Mysore, on August 4, 2010.
	Catalyst - the social service group of SDMIMD Students, organized the "Blood Donation Camp" at the SDMIMD Wellness Center on July 25, 2010. The camp was supported by Sri Krishnarajendra Community Hospital medical team.
	The paper entitle "*Future of Management Education – Challenges and Opportunities" has been accepted for presentation in the 22nd AIMS Annual Management Education Convention 2010 for the Best Student Paper Award.*
	Mr.Nikunj Patel First year student’s paper titled “Management Education in India – Opportunities, Challenges and Value” has been accepted for presentation in the 22nd AIMS Annual Management Education Convention 2010 for the Best Student Paper Award.
15.03.2009	Suresh's (PGDM 2008-10 Batch) research paper titled "The impact of economic slowdown on Financial Performance of Indian Corporates" has been selected and published in the AIMA 's Journal for Management & Research (AJMR). His article has been highly appreciated for excellent review done and the language used in the research paper.
05.03.2009	R. Naveen Kumar of II Year PGDM won the Complimentary Award for his case study on "Hero Honda" in CreADitivity - Management Paradise.com Advertising Case Study Competition.
19.11.2009	PGDM 2008-10 Batch students Mr Dushyant R Prasad, Mr Deepansh Agarwal, Mr Ashok Kumar and Mr Shashank Singh won prizes in paper presentation competition held at “Pooja Bhagawat Memorial Mahajana PG Centre Mysore” on topics – “Role of HR in a Globalized Environment” and “Does FDI promote growth”
28-30.11. 09	PGDM 2008-10 Batch Mr. Naveen Kumar’s article titled “ Culture, vision and metrics oriented Innovation- the success factor for a sustained innovation driven firm” was accepted by Indian Academy of Management at XLRI Jamshedpur.
15.01.2009	PGDM 2009-11 Batch students Mr Alok Kumar Dash and Mr Robin Garg participated in the annual B School fest “Sanskriti 09” conducted by Institute of Public Enterprise, Hyderabad and won prize in paper presentation “Resilient India Inc.-The way forward”
21-22.01.2010	PGDM 2009-11 Batch students Mr. Pratik Choksi, Mr. Chandan Singh, Ms. Priyanka A P, Ms. Priya Surendran, Mr. Rajkumar, Mr. Jaykrishna, Mr. Kushdeep, Mr. Prakash prabhu & Ms. Shivangi who participated in the Mt.Carmel Fest have won first in "Retail" event, first prize in "HR" event, second prize in "Business Quiz" event, won the third prize in"Business Quiz" event.
15-16.02.2010	PGDM 2009-11 Batch students Mr Kushdeep Mahani, Ms Sameera, Mr Pratik Choksi, Mr Chandan Singh, Ms Aparna G, Ms Manisha Giria, Mr Rajkumar, Mr Jayakrishnan, Mr Kirpa Nidhan Singh and Mr Parimal participated in annual college fest at Manipal Institute of Management Manipal and won prizes in Operations, Business Plan, HR, Business Quiz and Finance.
