| It is with great pleasure that I place in your hands a window into SDMIMD’s latest group of graduating students. This talented and enthusiastic corps is well-equipped to take on the challenges of a demanding corporate environment. They will exit the portals of this institution in 2010 with confident steps and eager minds, and are looking forward to rewarding and fulfilling careers.
Last year, despite difficult macroeconomic conditions, SDMIMD received tremendous support from the corporate organizations in the recruitment process. I thank the recruiters for the confidence reposed in us and our students. Our PGDM program has kept pace with latest developments in management education and has been designed to arm our students with tools and skills needed to make a contribution to their organizations from day one. We have introduced new features to inculcate values and social responsibility, encourage independent thinking, and broaden their range of knowledge. The alumni of SDMIMD have made a mark in their respective organizations and are holding responsible positions today. Their commitment and achievements have consistently won plaudits.
