Dr. Sunil M.V. is a faculty member specializing in Systems and General Management. With over two decades of experience, he has held various key positions, including serving as the Head of Academic Administration. Dr. Sunil's journey at SDMIMD began as a Librarian, where he significantly contributed to the conceptualization and development of the SDMIMD Library, establishing it as a robust knowledge resource. Additionally, he as former coordinator of the SDM RCMS for over a decade, overseeing the administration of the PhD program and fostering a strong research culture.
 
In the academic realm, Dr. Sunil specializes in Information Systems, Technology Adoption, Information Management, and Research Methodology. He has also designed courses with a focus on social relevance, reflecting his dedication to holistic education. His academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Open-Source Software adoption, and Master’s degrees in Library and Information Science and Sociology. He is also a Certified American Library Association and IIM Bangalore Fellow, demonstrating his commitment to professional development and excellence.
 
Dr. Sunil's contributions extend beyond the classroom. He has authored numerous papers featured in reputable journals, conferences, and book chapters, and has written two insightful books. Additionally, he is a sought-after consultant for technology adoption in information services, offering valuable insights to academic institutions, universities, and organizations to enhance their technological infrastructure.
