Riyazahmed is an Assistant Professor at SDM Institute of Management Development. He has completed his bachelor’s degree in commerce from Bharathiar University and secured second rank (silver medalist) at the university level. Later, he completed his MBA and PhD in Finance from Anna University. His doctoral research project studied investors preference and behavior related to investment decisions. He has a decade of teaching experience and a year of industry experience. His articles are published in peer-reviewed journals and he has conducted several workshops on data analysis and research methods. Further, he has trained entrepreneurs & SME working professionals in the areas of finance and accounts. He has consultancy experience in the projects of state government and companies like JSW, Triveni, etc. In addition to teaching, he held positions as a research council member, editorial board member, research journal coordinator, and public relations liaison officer during his academic tenure. Corporate finance and analytics are his areas of research interest.
