Dr. Ellur Anand is an Associate Professor in the area of Operations and Quantitative Methods. He brings a rich blend of academic and industry experience, having previously held academic positions at prestigious institutions such as the Jagdish Sheth School of Management, Alliance University, the Kirloskar Institute of Advanced Management Studies (KIAMS), and the Bapuji Institute of Engineering and Technology (MBA Program).
 
Before transitioning to academia, Dr. Ellur Anand gained invaluable industry experience during his five-year tenure with leading export houses. His roles included various positions at Perfect Knitters Limited, Richa Global, and Shahi Export House, where he executed orders from renowned international brands such as PGA Tour, Cutter & Buck, Marks & Spencer, Old Navy, J.C. Penney, Walmart, and Benetton. He is a Green Belt Certified Professional in Lean Six Sigma and his areas of interest, currently, are Service Operations; Logistics and Warehousing; Supply Chain Analytics, Predictive Analytics, Lean Management, Six Sigma. Dr. Anand holds a Ph.D. from Pondicherry University and a PGDM with a major in Operations from the Amrita Institute of Management, Ettimadai, Coimbatore.
