This is the most illustrious committee among the students of SDMIMD. They get a feel of this committee even while aspiring to be one among the few out of numerous aspirants who get admissions to the institute. The committee is dedicated to attract the best talent vying for a professional education in Management. The committee is dedicated to resolve queries by potential candidates vide online forums. The committee works along with the management of SDMIMD by communicating various grievances and issues faced by the aspirants. It acts as a bridge between the aspirants and SDMIMD. | SDMIMD Alumni Network (ANTS) aims to foster strong ties between the institute and its alumni. As part of this, the alumni are kept informed about the happenings in the institute. The committee organizes “Pratigam”, the annual alumni meet of SDMIMD and is also in charge of inviting alumni for guest lectures and interactions with students. The committee, in collaboration with Dimensions interviews alumni, the transcript of which is published in the following Dimensions issue. The committee also conducts various other activities for alumni which promotes their active participation.”

| Entrepreneurship Cell Committee |
The Entrepreneurship Cell is a place for all those who avoid taking beaten paths and believe in leaving trails in all walks of life. E-cell not only shows the doors of opportunity but it also helps walk through it by providing options such as funding mentoring, networking with other entrepreneurs, frequent interactive sessions and Competitions.
It is a firm belief behind idea of Entrepreneurship Cell that original thoughts and radical ideas take shape in young minds. Students are the greatest natural resource and the Cell intends to nurture them and provide them with opportunities for excellence. It is the cherished dream of members of SDM-IMD E-cell to be job providers rather than job seekers.

| Mess Committee |
|
Mess committee are the people who run the mess at college. Unlike many other colleges, here we believe that food is a major part of our academics and we give great importance to the food we serve here. Mess committee people decide upon the Menu for the week, in advance after analysing the student needs and market availability. We ensure that the right food is served each day, throughout the year. We also keep track of the mess bill. Apart from this, we also conduct 2 major events at college:-
- 15 days 15 states: We at SDMIMD have a blend of 21 states people in it. This is a flagship event conducted by the mess committee, were 15 days in a year, students get to show off their talents in cooking different states food.
- Food festival: Where you can cook your own food, sell them and keep the profit..!!

| Placement Committee |
- The placement committee at SDMIMD is a team of highly motivated students, mentored by faculty members, who work towards achieving the goal of obtaining the desired placement offers for the students in terms of both profiles and organizations to work with. In addition, the placement committee plays an instrumental role in developing and sustaining a mutually beneficial long term relationship with the industry.
- This is a single point interface of the Institute with outside business world as well as, Industry for Summer Internship & corporate placement. Their activities include round the year, efforts to arrange placements/training of all the batches starting from developing database, identifying companies taking appointments, making presentations to corporates, maintaining the corporate interface and conducting various placement processes on campus. It works round the year for summer training and final placements. The backend placement committee’s primary role is to identify, maintain and upgrade database of the companies followed by initializing the communication between the Institute and the Corporate. The placement activities are coordinated by Placement Committee members in which selected student representatives liberally work towards securing placements of the students in reputed Organizations.
- The placement Committee at SDMIMD plays an integral and vital role in building the SDMIMD brand in the corporate world. The committee interacts with the corporates, to bring the ideal career opportunities to the students for their summer and final placements.
- The team also takes an initiative in conducting workshops, seminars and guest lecturers by experts in the industry aiming to provide and enhance the skill sets of the students.
- The Placement committee along with the help of career management centre conducts aptitude tests, group discussions and mock interviews for the students to get a feel of actual interview.

| The Sports Committee, manages sports activities at SDMIMD. It conducts SPORTS DAY on 15th of August every year, and other events like inter class competitions for badminton, table tennis etc. The committee also conducts a chess tournament at the district level.
