Leadership dimensions are once again at the forefront of discussion and debate in management fora. This has been due to the fast paced changes that are taking place in the business environment and the need for building organisations that can overcome these challenges. A one-day MDP on 'Dimensions of Leadership' was offered on June 1 & 2, 2016 by Dr. M.R. Suresh, Professor - Marketing and Prof. S.N. Prasad, Professor - OB & HR, with an objective to give insights into conceptual dimensions of leadership; introduce leadership skills required in organisations; develop a perspective of functional area leadership; discuss issues in formulating leadership responses; introduce the Concepts of Moral, Conscious and Resonant Leadership; and to give insight into the interface between leadership and society. |
