In a nutshell, the Internet touches almost all aspects of our lives. However, it also makes us vulnerable to a wide range of threats. New and powerful cyber-attacks are striking the Internet regularly. A minor lapse in managing our digital lives can open the door to cybercriminals' thus said Mr Anil Kumar N., Police Sub Inspector, Cyber Economic and Narcotics Crime (CEN) Police Station, Mysore.

In its growth phase, SDMIMD can make use of the expertise and strengths of TCS and work towards development of overall managerial awareness and exposure to our students. Another laudable feature of the initiative is that this facility is open to all our students starting from this year. This means that regardless of their intended specializations, they will stand to gain the practical touch from TCS. Coupled with their existing use of our Dharmasthala ethos and practices, the results are bound to be of great value to the corporate and business community.   Dr Heggade stressed that in this era when the content of higher education curriculum and teaching methods are matters of wide debate, practical exposures and value-added support from corporate bodies will always be welcome.
