In the recently released Career360 B School Survey 2023, SDMIMD secured 21st among 55 Best B Schools in India (Private); Ranked among the top 10 in the Category – Best in Living and Learning – Private & Ranked 3rd with AAAA+ rating in Karnataka.

Business World B-School Survey 2022

In the recently released Business World B-School Survey 2022, SDMIMD secured 26th place among the Top B-Schools in India concerning the private B-School category. The institute has tied for 45th among 183 Top B – Schools in the overall ranking.

International Accreditation Leadership Award 2022

Dr N.R. Parasuraman, Director, SDMIMD, was selected as the first awardee for the Olin Oedokoven International Accreditation Leadership Award instituted jointly by SEAA Trust and Peregrine. The Award recognizes the Indian Accreditation leader who has led more than one International Accreditation at their campus and has consistently displayed a passion for bringing in Global Benchmarks of Quality in Business Education.

Invited Talk on ‘Presenting Analytical Insights

Mr Kiran Sathyanarayan, Advisor, Data Science, Dell Technologies, was invited to deliver a talk on 'Presenting Analytical Insights' on November 14, 2022. The session was organized as part of the business intelligence course as part of the PGDM Program. The interactive session introduced the various nuances and techniques of understanding & presenting analytical insights.

Academic Library Award 2022

Dr Sunil M.V., Head – Academic Administration and Faculty, SDMIMD, won the Certificate of Excellence Academic Library Award 2022 by Knimbus, India. Knimbus bestowed the Award for the innovative service demonstrating the integration of institute intellectual output and the various resources with discovery tools in an Open-source eco-system. In the presence of Dr N.R. Parasuraman, Director, SDMIMD, the certificate was hand-over by Mr Karthikeyan, Marketing-Head, Knimbus, to Dr Sunil on the campus.

Workshop on Public Speaking

Communication is the backbone of any society. It allows us to form connections, influence decisions, and motivate change. Public speaking is one of the most essential and dreaded forms of communication. In the working world, public speaking is a vital skill to have. While some take to it naturally, others tend to be more fearful of standing and talking in front of a crowd. A month-long workshop on Public Speaking with intensive theory and a practical session was organized for PGDM 2022-24 by Ms Sheetal Mohithe, Professional Trainer & Coach, during November and December 2022.

Interactive Session on Funding Opportunity for Research

Dr Sudharshan Reddy Paramati, Chair Professor of Financial Economics and Climate Change, School of Business, University of Dundee, was on campus to discuss the funding opportunity for the research. Dr Sudharshan introduced the various scholarships and research avenues in the area of finance for the young managers of PGDM 2022-2024 during the interactive session held on November 17, 2022. The session followed a discussion with the faculty team on the academic tie-up between SDMIMD and the University of Dundee.

SDMIMD-BCIC Seminar on the Leadership Dimensions

Mr Viju Parameshwar, the Former President & CEO of Kluber Lubrication, delivered the seminar on 'The Leadership Dimensions' on November 15, 2022. SDMIMD and BCIC jointly organized the virtual seminar. The session focused on how managers and leaders can equip themselves with the changing dimensions of leadership. The insightful discussion gave insights into the nuances of leadership. The special invitees, members of BCIC, students of PGDM Batch 22-24 and faculty members participated in the seminar.
